Three ways we collect pallets in Melbourne

  1. Free collection. 20 or more reusable Australian Standard (1165 x 1165 mm) or Euro (1200 x 800 mm) pallets in metro Melbourne. We collect them at no charge and put them back into service.
  2. Paid pallet removal. Fewer than 20 pallets, odd sizes, US pallets, plastic pallets or mixed loads. We quote from your photos, and the pallets are reused or recycled.
  3. Mulching. Pallets too broken to reuse go to a timber recycler and are turned into mulch instead of landfill. How mulching works.

Ask for a Certificate of Recycling and we will issue one after every collection. It shows the pallet count, the estimated timber weight and the CO2-e avoided, with the method footnoted (Australian National Greenhouse Accounts Factors).

Is pallet collection free?

What if I have fewer than 20 pallets?

We offer paid pallet removal for smaller loads, odd sizes, US pallets, plastic pallets and mixed loads. Send us photos and we'll quote.

Do you take broken pallets?

How do I book a pallet collection?

Send us photos of your pallets or call 1800 867 725. We'll confirm whether it's free collection, paid removal or mulching, then book the truck.

Do you pay for the pallets you collect?

No. Free collection means there is no charge for the pickup. It is not a cash-for-pallets service.

Which pallets can you not take for free?

Broken pallets, loose timber and weathered pallets that are falling apart. A free load should have no more than one or two broken boards per pallet, across less than 10% of the pallets. Damaged loads can go to our mulching service instead.

Do you take plastic pallets?

Yes. Plastic pallets are collected through our paid removal service and are reused or recycled. Send us photos for a quote.

How many pallets fit on one truck?

Up to around 210 pallets per truck. Larger quantities are collected over more than one truck.

Do I need a forklift?

A forklift makes loading quick, but two people can hand-load. If neither is possible, we can book a tail-lift truck for an extra fee.
